We are pleased to have Dan Ninemire as General Manager of the All American Baseball Center. Dan has an excellent background, serving as a college baseball coach for several years, as well as playing at the collegiate and minor league levels. Dan also serves as the coordinator of The Team All American Baseball Program.
Before the opening of the All American Baseball Center in 2005, Dan was an assistant baseball coach at the University of Pittsburgh serving as recruiting coordinator. During his time at Pittsburgh, his last three recruiting classes were ranked among the nation’s best by The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. Dan’s coaching career began at Mercyhurst college (1996) as an assistant coach under current Pittsburgh Head Coach, Joe Jordano . During the years 1999-2001, prior to joining the Pitt staff, Ninemire served as Head Coach at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York where he lead the Lazers to a 16 game turnaround in a one year period. Ninemire served as pitching coach for the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, where his coaching experiences helped lead them to a NECBL championship. Also adding to his experience, Ninemire served as field manager and general manager for the Watertown Wizards of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. Dan has also served as an associate scout for the Cleveland Indians and the Seattle Mariners.
Ninemire’s college baseball days began in 1993 at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) in Utica, New York. In his first season, he helped lead his team to the Junior College World Series. He was later named to the New York State Junior College ALL-Star Team. After his tenure at MVCC, Ninemire transferred and finished his college career at Gannon University in Erie, PA. Ninemire earned a Bachelors Degree in Theraputic Recreation from Gannon University in 1997 and a Master’s Degree in Special Education in 1998 from Syracuse University.
Ninemire’s varied experiences in the field of Baseball allow him to offer all players an opportunity to grow and refine their baseball skills as well as developing into Tomorrow’s All Americans.
